This model is designed to be an aid in teaching the care of ostomy stomas. It can be used to Teach how to clean, medicate and care for ostomy sites as well as surrounding skin. It can also be used to illustrate how to attach ileostomy and colostomy devices and how to change dressings.Note: Although there is one stoma that can be used to illustrate attaching a colostomy bag, that is not the main purpose of this ostomy care model.
Made of lifelike BIOLIKE 2TM, this life-size Ostomy Care Model contains four stomas that can be lubricated and dilated with an inserted finger.
The Ostomy Care Model may be washed, taped, bandaged, and fitted with ostomy bags.
